Big action of Election Commission on Yogi and Mayawati In the case of violation of the code of conduct, the Election Commission has taken strict action. The Election Commission has banned Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and the propaganda of Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati. The Election Commission will start the ban on April 16. Which will be applicable for 72 hours for Yogi Adityanath and 48 hours for Mayawati.

During this time, Yogi Adityanath and Mayawati will not be able to address any rally, nor will they be able to use social media or give interviews to anyone. The Election Commission’s action will begin at 6 a.m. on April 16.

It is clear from the Election Commission that Yogi Adityanath will not be able to make any publicity on 16th, 17th and 18th of April. Apart from this, Mayawati will not be able to campaign any election on April 16 and 17.

Let me tell you that BSP chief Mayawati had appealed for votes from people of Muslim community during the election rally in Deoband, Uttar Pradesh. Mayawati had said in her speech that people of Muslim community would not vote for her and only vote for the general body. Let me tell you that on Monday morning, the Supreme Court objected to Mayawati’s speech in the Deoband rally. The EC had been reprimanded on behalf of the court that the commission has taken action in this matter so far. The Supreme Court had said that the commission is still issuing notices only, why not take any strict action.
