BJP President Amit Shah has said that the Bharatiya Janata Party will not allow Assam to become Kashmir. Addressing a rally in Lakhimpur, Assam, the BJP President mentioned the Pulwama attack and said that he and his party offer tribute to the martyrs of Pulwama. The BJP leader said that the cowardly attack carried out by Pakistan, in which the CRPF jawans have been martyred, the sacrifices will not be in vain.
Amit Shah remembered Maneshwar, young man of Assam who died in this attack, saying that the country and Assam could not forget his sacrifice. Attacking the Congress, Amit Shah said that this time his sacrifice will not be lost because this time it is not the Congress government at the center but it is your government. Amit Shah said that if anyone is thinking that by attacking our soldiers, we will be able to weaken him, then this is his mistake.
Shah said in his meeting that in 1985 there was a Assam Accord. After this, the Assam Gana Parishad (AGP) government for 10 years, Congress ruled for 25 years. Congress has been in the center for 20 years. But what happened to the Assam Accord? Amit Shah told Congress and AGP that the youth of Assam are asking him questions about this. Amit Shah said that despite these years of rule, these parties did not come with the National Citizen Register (NRC). Amit Shah said that neither these parties stopped infiltration nor came from NRC in Assam.

Addressing the youth, Amit Shah said that as soon as the BJP government was formed, we came to NRC and worked to stop infiltration. He said that BJP will not allow Assam to become Kashmir. BJP President Amit Shah said that those who were opposed to the Citizenship Amendment Act, in the recent local elections, the public has chosen to work and defeat them.
Amit Shah said that whatever the North-East or the Jammu and Kashmir BJP government has decided to destroy the horror of terror. He said that if the maximum will to fight against terror is in any leader then it is in Narendra Modi.
