In this age of 4G network, if someone says that you can now run Whats App, Facebook and Google on your landline phone then will you believe it?
But now you have to believe it. Government telecom company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is going to offer this facility very soon. The company has completed preparations to start this service from Ranchi. After this, the company is also planning to start it all over the country. Not only this, you will also be able to make a video call to a landline phone. Like any other Android mobile phone, this landline will also be able to operate TV, AC and television and etc.
How will this BSNL phone provide all these features?
BNSL is designing the big touchscreen phone through which the users will be able to operate these services on the landline phones. To make this process more simple and easy, the company is connecting all telephone exchanges in Ranchi with NGN (Next Generation Networking). After connecting to NGN, all calls will be based on the IP, the user has to buy an IP based landline phone.
The broadband modem in these phones will be inbuilt so there will be no need to buy modems separately. It will get up to 40 MBPS speed and generate WiFi and unlimited phones can be added to the 50-meter range. The range can also be increased through the router.
