Bulandshahr News: In the case of violence in the Bulandshahr of Uttar Pradesh, the army handed over the main accused Jitendra Malik to UP STF on Saturday night. IG STF Amitabh Yash has confirmed this. Earlier, after the SIT report, the bulandshahr SSP, Sayna CO and Chingravathi Chowki Charge were removed on Saturday.
Army Chief Bipin Rawat had said that the police had full cooperation in this matter. After the alleged gokshi on December 3 in Chingravati village of Shyana area of the district, Inspector Subodh and the youth of the village Sumit was killed.
SSP Abhishek Singh said that the accused Jitu has admitted that when the crowd gathered, he was present there, although it is not clear now that he shot Inspector Subodh only. In the inquiry, Jitu said that he had gone there with the villagers, but did not stone him on the police.
On December 3, a mob attacked UP Police Inspector Subodh Kumar, who was shot dead by Gokshi in Bulandshahr. Jatendra Malik alias Jitu Fauji, also a 22-year-old Rajput Rifles personnel stationed in Sopore of Jammu and Kashmir, was involved in that violent mob. Police registered FIR registered against the army.
After interrogating people arrested after the violence and scuffling videos of violence, the police suspected that the bullet could probably have been run by Jitu Sena. After which the police issued a non-bailable warrant against Jitu Army and two UP STF teams reached Jammu and Kashmir on December 6. UP STF officials present in Bulandshahr contacted the officers of the army and told about the involvement of Jitendra Fauji in the incident of Bulandshahr and told police to handover.
Officials of UP STF said that when contacted by the Army’s Senior Officer, at the same time, Jitu Fauji was detained in the barracks of the Army. But the Army officials did not hand over the Jitu army in Jammu and Kashmir to the UP police. Actually, the army is quite alert since the killing of soldiers in the valley, so Army officials decided that the authorities will go to UP on Jitu army and handed over to the STF.
