After hearing all the arguments of the parties, the Chief Justice ordered that the police commissioner Rajiv Kumar should cooperate in the CBI investigation and for this he appeared before the CBI in Shillong. Court said that Shillong is a neutral place, where Rajiv Kumar is present at the CBI office.
Apart from this, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has clarified the situation even on the issue of contempt of the court over obstructing the CBI investigation. The court has said that the question of contempt will be sought from the DGP on the issue of contempt.
