Thackeray response to Amit Shah: As the Lok Sabha elections are coming closer, the rhetoric between the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Shiv Sena is becoming even as scary. After the statement of BJP President Amit Shah who defeated former colleagues in the absence of coalition, Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray, while reverting in a tone, said that defeating Shiv Sena was not born yet. This statement of Thackeray is being considered as an answer to Amit Shah’s remarks in which he had told to beat former colleagues in the absence of coalition.
Criticizing the statement, Thackeray said that I have heard some words like ‘slapping’. The defeating Shiv Sena was not born yet. Please tell that Shivsena is a BJP ally in the central and Maharashtra governments.
In the beginning of January, BJP President Amit Shah, who went to Maharashtra, had said in Latur that if the alliance happens, then BJP will ensure the victory of its allies, but if it does not happen then the BJP in 2019 will defeat its old allies. Shah also talked about slapping such colleagues. However, he did not name Shivsena. Now the statement of Uddhav Thackeray is being seen as a reply to Shah’s comment.
Modi wave also comment(Thackeray response to Amit Shah)
Uddhav Thackeray said this while addressing a public meeting in Worli area. Targeting Modi wave before the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, Thackeray said, “Shiv Sena has witnessed many waves in its journey.” He said that, unlike the BJP, Shiv Sena has raised the issue of Ram temple before elections so that they can be exposed, which always use it for electoral issues.
Thackeray said, “Tell us how Congress is obstructing the construction of the temple. Congress got its results in 2014. The party could not even get the post of Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha. ‘
He questioned how when Nitish Kumar’s JDU and Ramlalas Paswan’s BJP ally parties like LJP are opposing, how will they construct the temple? He said that the BJP should clarify the situation on this.
