In fact, the bench headed by Chief Justice of the Supreme Court was hearing a case related to the authenticity of the pilot and other employees’ degree working in government air services.
During this, the authority told the court that seven pilots got jobs in PIA on the basis of fake certificates. Of these, five were those who did not even get education till matriculation.
The authority told the court that educational boards and university degrees do not cooperate in the authenticity process. The authorities have to face difficulties due to this.
The PIA also delays the availability of the pilot and cabin crew and other staff records. At the same time, the PIA’s officer told the court that more than 50 employees were suspended for not providing education related documents.
