India Pakistan tension: India has adopted a tough stance about the involvement of many Khalistani separatists in the committee created by Pakistan over the Kartarpur Corridor. According to sources, India on Friday summoned Pakistan’s Deputy High Commissioner and expressed concern over the presence of Khalistanis in the Kartarpur panel. India has also asked Pakistan’s Deputy High Commissioner Syed Haider Shah to clarify the stand of Islamabad on the main proposals given by New Delhi in the last meeting in the atari about the introduction of the Kartarpur Sahib Corridor. .
According to a statement issued by the Ministry of External Affairs, Pakistan has been told that the meeting between the two countries regarding the corridor’s modalities can be held at a reasonable time after getting the reply of Pakistan. In order to expedite the infrastructure development for the corridor, India has proposed another meeting of technical experts in mid-April so that the issues on which the differences arise can be resolved.
