debt waiver:During his speech in the Lok Sabha, Prime Minister Narendra Modi attacked the opposition. Attacking the Congress and JDS Government of Karnataka, Prime Minister Narendra Modi claimed that his government did not fulfill the promise of farmers’ debt waiver. However, Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy has reversed the prime minister’s claims. Unlike the 60 thousand statistics of the Prime Minister, Kumaraswamy has said that his government has provided relief to the 4 lakh farmers by giving relief to the debt waiver.
What did the Prime Minister say on debt waiver
Refuting the debt waiver, the Prime Minister said, “The Karnataka government had announced to forgive the farmers’ debt, 43 lakh people should have got the benefit but only 60 thousand farmers were forgiven. In ten days, debt waiver was claimed in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, but the paper is not ready there right now.
PM Modi said, ‘You forgive debt of 50-60 thousand crore in 10 years, which does not benefit everyone. In the 10 years we have started, we will go for Rs 7.5 lakh in the farmers’ account. ”
What is the answer given by Kumaraswamy …
Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy gave the answers to the prime minister’s allegations with facts. They tweeted and claimed that so far 1900 crores have been given to about 4 lakh farmers. By February, all farmers will get the first installment of debt . They also shared a link to know about it. Kumaraswamy wrote that Narendra Modi is misleading the country from the temple of democracy.
