Odisha CM naveen Pattnaik: Odisha Chief Minister and Biju Janata Dal (BJD) president Naveen Pattnaik has made a big announcement before the Lok Sabha elections. During a rally, CM Pattnaik said that in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections, his party will give 33% reservation to all the candidates for ticket allocation. Significantly, Pattnaik had earlier advocated for reservation of women in Parliament and Assembly.
Pattnaik was addressing an election rally in Kendrapara. During this time, he announced that BJD will give 33% reservation to women in the allocation of tickets in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections. Later, talking to reporters, he said, “I am very happy to be here today.”
