Let us tell you, students of DAV PG College of Dehradun, together with members of ABVP, VHP, and Bargarh Dal, led the exhibition (15 February 2019) outside of colleges (15 February 2019). After which the principal of “Baba Farid Institute of Technology” (BFIT) wrote a letter to the President of the student union. In which he said – “We assure you that if any Kashmiri student is found in any anti-national activity, then that student will be expelled from the institute and no Kashmiri student will be admitted in the new session. ”

According to the Indian Express report, BFIT Principal Siddiqui told that around 400-500 people of ABVP, VHP, and Bajrang Dal had protested against the institution between 1 a.m. and 5 p.m. He asked us to give this assurance that all Kashmiri students will be expelled from the institute. After that, I tried to explain to him that the expulsion from the Achancher Institute will affect his career and studies. But he was stubborn.

He said that in the end, keeping in mind the security of the Kashmiri students, in writing, we had to give in writing that we will not accept any Kashmiri students admission from next session. Let us know, 250 students of BFIT now study in Jammu and Kashmir.
