The official said that the US wants relations with India to remain as strong as ever. For the betterment of the world, we want to maintain cooperative attitude in the Indo-Pacific region. He said that the visit of Indian Foreign Secretary will prove to be milestone. Gokhale also met with US Secretary of State Mike Pompei and National Security Adviser John Bolton.

According to the Trump administration, during a three-day visit last week, Gokhale discussed diplomatic cooperation with officials of Ministry of External Affairs and Ministry of Defense. During this time, there was talk of wide-ranging bilateral relations. India’s relations with Pakistan and Afghanistan were discussed.
