Smash in the Duronto Express: On Thursday night, armed bandits looted several passengers in the Jammu-Delhi Duronto Express (12266) on the outskirts of Delhi. According to the Northern Railway, the incident happened with the passengers aboard the B-3 and B7 coaches of the Wardat train. The miscreants stopped the train at 3.30 pm in the later part of the area. So far, many travelers have lodged a complaint of looting their mobile, cash and jewelery.
A victim said in a complaint to the railway portal, “At night, almost 10 crooks entered the coach. Most of the passengers were asleep during the incident. He took a knife on the neck of some people and took it very precious. It continued for about 15 minutes. ”

Attendant said – No security personnel was in the train: passenger(Smash in the Duronto Express)
Second passenger Ashwani Kumar said, “After the incident, people searched for the train attendant and TT for help, but they did not get even after 20 minutes. In such a situation, he called the Delhi Police and filed a complaint. The attendant later told that there are no security personnel in the train. Passengers are not safe in AC coaches so that they can guess what the situation of sleeper and general compartment will be. Where anyone goes without ticket. ”
40 minutes before reaching station
Duranto express went to Jammu’s Sarai Rohilla station from Jammu Tavi at 7.20 pm on Wednesday evening. According to the schedule of the railway, at around 4.20 pm, it reaches Delhi station, but about 40 minutes before the station, the miscreants targeted it.
