The film has been made on the book of Sanjay Baru. Sanjay Baru has been a media adviser to Manmohan Singh. Akshay Khanna is playing Baru in the film. Ahana Kumara, Suzanne Burnt, Arjun Mathur also play an important part in the lead role in the film. It has been directed by Vijay Guttay.
